Holbrook Families,

Thanks to staff, students and families for all of their efforts celebrating Earth Week at Holbrook. It was wonderful to see so many students and families walking and rolling to school and a big thank you to Ms. Sacchetti & Ms. Legault and the Healthy Action Team for organizing and promoting looking after our environment. Congratulations to Ms. Yavorska's Gr 2/3 class and Ms. Johnston's Gr 3/4 class for having the highest percentage of students that walk and rolled to school. It was such a close call as all classes had excellent participation.

Dear HWDSB Community,

We are excited to share that new websites are coming for our school board and all 93 HWDSB schools the first week of May. These refreshed sites are designed to be easier to use, more accessible, and make it simpler for families to find the information they need. This work is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance how we share information, connect, and collaborate with families, staff, and communities across the system.

As we enter the final three months of the school year, we arrive at an important moment for reflection and renewed focus. This time invites us to pause and check in on the goals we set at the beginning of the year, the supports we continue to provide, and the impact we are striving to have on student achievement across our system.

As we enter April, I want to offer an opportunity to reflect ahead of Mental Health Week, which takes place from May 4 to 10. This period encourages us to pause and consider the importance of mental health and well-being across our schools and communities.
